This course is aimed at those who have done some sailing in the past but feel they need a refresher course to boost their confidence or those who have done around 30 hours of windsurfing, reached the harness level and want to take the next steps in windsurfing. You need to understand and be able to demonstrate board control, basic steering, tacking and upwind sailing.
Windsurf clinics (intermediate)
- 5 Days intermediate windsurf course (approx 1h30min per day)
- Optional upgrade to 10h windsurf rental card
- All your windsurfing equipment for the duration of the lessons (board, sail, rigs, wetsuit, boots etc)

The aim of this course is to teach you some of the trickier aspects of windsurfing including how to master the harness, improve use of straps and planning plus more advanced techniques like water start, quick tack and power jibe. Windsurf courses run everyday at 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00. Pleas note that there is a degree of flexibility with regards what the intermediate course covers and your specific requirements can be discussed directly at the centre.
Intermediates will use all round performance boards (205l/180l/160l) with normal sails and rigs. For the optional 10h rental card boards are used from the group World Class category (All round performance epoxy sandwich boards) Wetsuit, harness and equipment insurance is included.
Windsurf courses run everyday at 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00. Courses and rental will be scheduled at the centre on the first day of your holiday around the fixed course times depending upon the local wind conditions.
As with most boardsports we all have our own learning curves and progress at different rates. So depending upon your ability, aptitude to learn, fitness, stamina and the windsurf conditions you may cover some or all of the topics outlined above.
